MARIAM
Growing up in Gyumri in a family that valued storytelling and poetry, Mariam developed a deep appreciation for the Armenian language and its unique alphabet. After earning her degree in linguistics from Yerevan State University, Mariam began researching the evolution of the Armenian script and its role in preserving national identity.
Mariam’s current research focuses on comparing ancient Armenian manuscripts with modern dialects, seeking to bridge the past and present through language. In addition to her academic pursuits, she frequently gives lectures on the significance of the Armenian alphabet, created by Mesrop Mashtots, at international linguistics conferences. Her ultimate dream was to create a webiste for Armenian language and culture, offering resources and programs to preserve this ancient yet vibrant linguistic heritage.

ARMAN
Arman grew up in the historic city of Gyumri, known for its rich cultural traditions and vibrant art scene. From a young age, Arman showed a deep interest in Armenian folklore, often spending hours listening to his grandfather's stories about ancient heroes and the legendary Mount Ararat.
Inspired by his heritage, he pursued a degree in linguistics at Yerevan State University, where he specialized in Armenian dialects and their evolution over centuries. After graduation, Arman dedicated himself to teaching the Armenian language to diaspora communities worldwide. His mission is to preserve the language's beauty and ensure that Armenians, no matter where they lived, remained connected to their roots.

ANAHIT
A mother of two with a background in literature, she found her voice through journalism, where curiosity and storytelling naturally came together. Living abroad shaped both her personal life and her outlook on the world: she met her husband outside Armenia, and it was there that she began to notice something that stayed with her.
Again and again, she was surprised by how little people knew about Armenia beyond a handful of stereotypes from reality tv. Even less familiar was the Armenian language itself, often overlooked despite its richness and melodic beauty. What began as casual conversations turned into a quiet mission. Anahit now dedicates much of her work to sharing information about Armenia, its culture, and its language.

HAKOB
Hakob is a teacher by trade, but when he is not in the classroom, he is usually hiking with his dogs, running long distances to clear his head, or spending nights camping with friends far from cities and schedules. He feels most at ease in Armenia’s open landscapes, from the dry expanses of the Ararat plain to the red cliffs of Vayots Dzor.
He loves waking up near the Vorotan Gorge, hiking the paths around Tatev, or standing on the slopes of Mount Aragats as the weather changes by the minute. In summer, he escapes to the forests of Dilijan, and in quieter moments he returns to places like Garni Gorge. He loves to be around a campfire, with a good beer and familiar faces. He hopes you will also appreciate Armenia’s natural wonders.
